The Airsynth is a musical instrument that pulls sound from the air.

Essentially, it is a motion detection based device that attaches different sounds to parts of the human body. For example, the movement of your arms could be connected up to different volume levels of a guitar sound.

Or, the direction of your torso could activate various synthsizer sounds. The possibilities are limitless. It is all developed through the principles of sound synthesis and the mathematics that governs motion detection.

 The goal is to use this instrument is to conduct a band while using this device to activate sounds, lights, videos or anything else that would stimulate an audience.

 The Guitar Den is seeking music industry affiliations to advance the project. It has been displayed at a small number of high profile venues and the response has been unanimously positive.
